The former home of Country Music Hall of Famer Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel mansion is a luxe log home in Nashville, Tennessee. The home, nestled in the woods and fronting a vast lawn, comprises 33,000 square feet (10,058 square meters) of living space including more than 20 rooms, 13 baths, five fireplaces, and an indoor shooting range. Fontanel Mansion is tucked away in the rolling hills of the Whites Creek Valley. It is the only country music mansion which allows tourists a glimpse into the lives of great country musicians. It is an attractive 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Barbara Mandrell.

Fontanel really has a lodge feel to it for sure, which is appropriate in the TN mountains. Dolly Parton clothes and wigs are on display for awhile at Fontanel. Another look at the bookcases filled with interesting artifacts. Other than the Fontanel Mansion is this big beautiful home that you can tour, we didn’t know much else about it, so we decided to head out first thing in the morning.

The Fontanel Mansion is a large log home in Nashville, Tennessee, on 186 acres of property that also contains public walking trails, a bed and breakfast inn called The Inn, the Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater, Adventureworks Ziplines, the Natchez Hills Winery, one of the two Prichard's Distillery locations, Stone House Gift Shoppe, and a café called Café Fontanella. Fontanel Mansion is the one-time family residence of Barbara Mandrell, a country musician and member of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The Fontanel offers Nashville's only country music mansion tour, and visitors will recognise the 27,000 square foot log home from its use in numerous photo and video shoots, and as the setting for TVs Gone Country show. The Fontanel Mansion was once the largest log home in the United States with 3 stories, 18 rooms, 7 full baths, 6 half-baths, 5 fireplaces, two kitchens, media room, indoor I’ll be back tomorrow with Part 2 of the Fontanel mansion. It’s quite a sight to see, with all the bedrooms and the kitchen and pool too.
